“Mad Hectic Foods
for a Mad Hectic World” isn’t a typical slogan for a new natural foods company. While many manufacturers
of health foods often advertise with images of calm, stress-free living, I think we have a more realistic message. A quiet and stress-free life is a great goal! In actuality, however, many people lead
increasingly busy and challenging lives! After turning forty and surviving breast cancer, I realized that I had been meaning to change my diet for a long time but hadn’t done much about it. I needed to find a realistic way to add healthy foods into my diet every day. It needed to be quick, packed with important ingredients, and great-tasting, too. The most logical place to make an easy and significant change in my diet seemed to be breakfast. For many Americans, morning is one of the most chaotic times of the day. Describing it as “Mad Hectic” is often an understatement! Many times, everyone goes in different directions and it is often out the door without breakfast. Unfortunately, skipping breakfast, or eating breakfast on the run is often not a healthy decision. So I started mixing... one ingredient
after another, each one carefully selected for its health benefits. After several years, I came up with a mix that I really
like and what we now affectionately call “Mad Hectic Oatmeal”. Oatmeal is so good for you, but a simple bowl of plain oatmeal isn’t very exciting. "Mad Hectic Oatmeal"
is notably different! It combines ORGANIC OATMEAL and PROTEIN POWDER, along with other ingredients such as organic flaxseed meal, sesame seeds, fruit, and tree nuts, to
create a more balanced food with much more protein, fiber and flavor! THE RESULT...AN INCREDIBLY GREAT-TASTING OATMEAL!
Another thing that distinguishes Mad Hectic Foods from other companies is that we are a small, New England, family-run business who lovingly mixes each bag of oatmeal by hand! We really care about each package we send out. IT'S NOT YOUR ORDINARY OATMEAL! Let’s face it. Life is Mad Hectic and we don’t always eat what we should.
